We offer Surfing With Stress courses on both an individual and group basis.

In a world full of busy-ness we can often feel overwhelmed, to the point where waves of stress and anxiety can blight our lives. What ‘Surfing With Stress’ aims to do is to help you recognise when those waves are coming and to ensure you’re fully prepared to surf those waves, and come out unscathed at the other end. We do this in 2 ways – through short workshops and longer 6 week training sessions, (consisting of 5 x 2.5 hour training sessions, followed by a one day retreat).

Our short workshops involve the physical and emotional means to manage your mind and body when you begin to feel stressed, through the use of different techniques including math-heart breathing, mindful meditation and movement.

Our 6 week course combines the workshop elements along with more in-depth learning, discussion and activities around recognising stress, and how to turn it on its head so that you are managing your stress, and it is not managing you.  Small changes can have big effects and we help you to incorporate those small changes into your daily life so you can become a successful stress surfer and can reach your full potential.

Our next publicly available group course is in Belfast and starts April 2019.
